A lot of people dream of the day that they’ll become parents. In the fantasy, two people fall in love and start their family. Pretty simple, right? The reality is that the matter isn’t that simple, and sometimes, people have to deal with some emotional and unexpected hurdles during pregnancy. This is Lucy and Samuel and their path to parenthood.

Who Is Lucy Moreno?

Let's start with the woman in our story who went through it all. Lucy Moreno grew up in Key West, Florida in a close-knit family with what was described as having more traditionally shaped morals.

As a kid, her family described her as a bright child with a captivating charm. She seemed comfortable and confident, too. As she got older, she was noted for being a social butterfly with plenty of friends in school.

Growing Up, Moving Out

Like everyone does, Lucy grew up and moved out of her parents' house to spread her wings a bit. Unfortunately, during this time, their relationship became more strained as well.

Staying in Florida, Lucy moved to Miami and, like most people in their young 20s, started working and enjoying her new freedom. As a job, she worked as a club hostess, and in her off-time, she was happy to enjoy the club scene as well. Clearly, she kept her social butterfly skills as an adult.

A Chance Meeting

Before we get to their story as a pair, we have to establish how these two fell for one another. It's a story that many people in their mid-20s would be familiar with.

While Lucy was out clubbing one night with some friends, another group happened to be there celebrating a bachelor party. There celebrating his friend's upcoming wedding, Samuel and Lucy crossed paths for the first time. The pair were instantly drawn to one another.

Who Is Samuel?

Unlike Lucy at the time, Samuel wasn't living in Miami. Rather, he was just in town for the night to celebrate the aforementioned bachelor party.

Outside of that night, the young man worked as a business analyst and spent most of his time in Tallahassee, Florida. Only in town for a short time, it was a happy chance that these two met on this night, which would change both of their lives forever.
